A restful day at EBC. I slept poorly, but can feel that I am almost over this stupid viral URI. Auspicious day to unpack, improve the tent, take a shower, and establish contact with my family. I was even able to put up a blog post from the toasty confines of my own tent, true luxury!\u00a0 <\/span>Yes, we have wifi here, and that is amazing.\u00a0 <\/span>A typical blog post of mine with about 50 photos seems to take about 4 hours to upload here\u2026 when the rest of the team arrives, we anticipate that things will grind to a halt, sorry to say!\u00a0 <\/span>Bandwidth is the issue\u2026 Still, it is great to be able to make contact with the outside world at all, even if just text.<\/p>\n

My setup is a bit more modest.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Much of the rest of the team went for a walking tour of upper EBC, but I chose to stay behind.\u00a0 <\/span>It was windy and cold (so, so cold here!) and I wanted to give my trachea and lungs a rest. Besides, I have all the time in the world to make a stroll up there in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
