Another fun rest day in Lobuche Base Camp.\u00a0 Our acclimatization hike was a bit shorter today, just 500 vertical up a ridge that runs from LBC up towards High Camp, but less direct than the way we went yesterday.\u00a0 Great views from up there!<\/p>\n

We watched a movie in the dining tent, World Police.\u00a0 I do NOT recommend this for audiences that include children, the infirm, or anyone with a sense of decency.\u00a0 In this context, it was fun.<\/p>\n

I seem to be acclimatizing well, no signs or symptoms of AMS.\u00a0 Ours is a strong team, with a great attitude and skills.\u00a0 We are having fun.<\/p>\n

Many of us, including me, have a runny nose and mild cough related to the dry cold air.\u00a0 A mild hassle.<\/p>\n

Plan is to move to Everest Base Camp (EBC) tomorrow.\u00a0 We are looking forward to getting there, both for its enhanced creature comforts and because of the progress that this represents\u2026 the approach trek will be over!<\/p>\n
