Kathmandu Redux

Everest 2016  •  March 26

Great day.  Met the whole team (minus my buddies still in transit), and everyone is super.  While my lovely wife was caucusing for Hillary (GO HILLARY), I was tending to sundry details like setting up my data plan and tying up loose ends.  And, most importantly, getting to know this great team.

Plan: fly to Lukla early tomorrow morning, then walk to Phak Ding where we spend our first night on the route.  Weather looks favorable, so hopefully we will not have a repeat of last year’s delays….

  2. Hi Paul,
Your blog is now my bedtime reading activity with my daughters. Good luck and know your friends in Pittsburgh are cheering you on!

    1. Yay Susan that is wonderful! I did not think this would make a good children’s bedtime saga, but why not? Truly, thanks, and best to the whole family.
