  1. IMG will be posting their names tonight on the website. Eric said it becomes public record and they will post! Yay yay!! Mama Hess et al are thrilled!

  2. Absolutely amazing, Paul. Indeed you are One Smart Mountaineer. I will continue to follow you each step of the way down and continue to send all my support to you on the mountain.

  3. The Nine’s are sending luck and joy for a safe journey down the mountain. Thank you for sharing your dream with us all. 🙂

  4. So exciting! He will forever be know as “Paul Pottinger, Mt. Everest Summiter”. One more trip through the icefall. Sending good Karma for that last (and most important) hike down the Khumbu. Congratulations to both of you! (I know what a team effort this is).

  5. Yep! He totally did! Kudos. Big respect. I’d say he’s a man who can definitely go the distance, set a goal and work diligently to accomplish it, overcoming obstacles, and exercising patience, all along the way. Can’t wait to hear the news when he’s safe and sound and solid with a big smile at Everest Base Camp in a few days’ time. His blog has been amazing throughout this expedition. Hope he finds time to “fill in the blanks” with more great images and writing relating the weeks from acclimatization rotations, to the summit, and back to base camp, and home, again. I look forward to reading those future posts.

  6. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement! Get down safe.

Oliver wants to climb Everest now so you may need to talk to him! Keep your fingers and toes warm and get home soon!! We love you.
